New SAMON YECHI iPhone & iPad Cases Available Now!...

I've been developing a new range of handmade iPhone and iPad cases using my trademark SAMON YECHI plastic over the past few weeks.

I am now pleased to say that new handmade SAMON YECHI iPhone and iPad cases are now available to purchase in 3 different colour ways from the website.

The cases are made from a unique plastic created personally by SAMON YECHI which is lined with felt and then has a hand stitched edge to finish.

Back To Plastic: SAMON YECHI iPad cases...

It's been a while since I did any product development with my plastic.

But now after a little break I have started working on a new little project; iPad and laptop cases.

Still early stages, but a few ideas are starting to form for final products.

Bath School of Art and Design Website Promotion...

I recently did a video and photo shoot for Bath School of Art and Design as part of a promotion for the new website that is now online.

Feature On Home Page Of Tent London

I was recently informed by Kerry Curtis, Head of Bath School of Art and Design, that my bowls have been featured on a photo real on the home page of the Tent London Design Show website.

Tent London is on from 19th to 22nd of September and is held at The Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, London and if you haven't been then go check it out!

ZSK Embroidered Pocket Sample...

I started working on a sample for a new SAMON YECHI embroidered pocket tee using the ZSK at Bath School of Art and Design.

Ive got an idea of the patterns I would like to use, now just to play around with colours and pattern orders :)

SAMON YECHI iPad Cases?...

Decided to have a go at making a sample for possible handmade SAMON YECHI laptop cases from the fabric samples I have been working with for the bags. 

Lined with felt for protection and embroidered over the hand screen print, I think they have come out pretty well!

Embroidered Samples...

 i decided to start embroidering over samples to see how it would look and its come out really nicely.

These two samples i turned into little clutch purses but will also be embroidering the pockets for the new tote bags too :)
